911!

Grant called 911 tonight, 3 times! I received a call from the dispatcher and after letting them know everything was fine and apologizing they sent a police officer over. Poor Grant was so scared and crying and I have a feeling will only call 911 in case of an emergency next time. AHHH!

Precious Memories

I have been wanting a way to preserve precious memories of my family and my life experiences. I was debating on whether to keep a journal for each child, or type up some files on my computer. I realized journals fade and can burn and are hard to share. Files get outdated as computers age, but hopefully the internet isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So, I'm going to record my thoughts and memories that I don't want to forget. I know how precious memories are. Before my mother died, I began interviewing her to try and get all the memories I could from her before she passed. I barely tipped the iceburg and wish now I had been even more proactive in my efforts. So, here is my first day of my new goal. To be a better record keeper, so that when my children and hopefully grandchildren have questions. I will have answers of who, when, where, and why. Family history is important. I truly believe that.
